The giant L building above is the Sony Centre, designed by World famous architect Daniel Libeskind. The building is not only a monument to ego, it also appears to be crushing the iconic OKeefe Centre while simultaneously kicking my city, Toronto, in the ass. Forgive the rhetoric. Its just that it becomes frustrating when, after Libeskind skewers a Chrystal into the side of the once beloved ROM, the Argentinians come up with their own L. It makes our Sony centre look like an invading transformer. The Peel Audiovisual Polo Tower at Terra do Fogo, (pictured below) is a sleek and thoughtful design. And if it really sits alone in the landscape, as drawn, will be not only the tallest building in South America but a destination in and of itself.
