The good and bad... The good: We made it from Ewing VA to Lexington KY in 2 1/2 hours. The bad: We made it from the Lexington city limit to the center of Lexington in 2 1/2 hours. The good: We found a premium parking spot in the parking garage right next to the door. The bad: We were in the wrong parking garage. The good: Even though we were wayyyyyy late, the doctor still fit us in very quickly. The bad: Dads aneurysm has grown to the point he needs surgery. The good: They think they can get by with doing the surgery through his leg. Much better prospect than the other way. The bad: Were gonna have to drive in that UK mess again. The good: All that construction we had to go through in Lexington going in was done for the day going out. The bad: Classes were letting out. 28,000 students using 10,000 crosswalks. That place needs pedestrian bridges or tunnels! The good: I was able to drive most of the trip without falling asleep...MOST of the trip. The bad: Found out that our dog ran away from home while we were gone. The good: Pedro just happens to have an identifying chip implanted and a tag on the collar that resulted in him being found fairly quickly and me receiving an automated call telling me he was found and by whom. The bad: The family that found him were the family from the movie The hills have eyes My daughter went to get him. Shes scarred for life now. Such was life today.
