The good news is I don’t have the B-RAF gene (which means it is not hereditary). The not so good news is I Dont have the B-RAF gene so may not qualify for the drug trial. Surgery is booked for Tuesday in Waikato and I will be there until Christmas. Although at this stage, plans can change very quickly. Thinking aloud, most of you reading this, whether you know it or not would have played a lead part in one or more of my pathways in this earthly journey. I have experienced, learned, Loved, lost, flown and fallen. One thing I can say for sure is, I HAVE LOVED LIVING. I’ve spent years travelling parts of the globe looking for answers to some of Life’s biggest questions. I tried all sorts of worlds and ways and still came to a dead end when it came to my faith. I’ve literally had nine lives, maybe more! I came close to death with some extreme kind of passion for life. Strangely, I found a small piece to the puzzle that has given me peace and I wonder if everyone were to face their own mortality at least once in this life, would you recognise your immortality. I believe we are all one, now and forever. Connected. By being connected I also believe that we also influence and affect each other. I have been totally blown away by the people in my community and how connected we actually are. “All things are connected like the blood that unites us. We do not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.” – Chief Seattle See you in the New Year x
