The government has failed in managing the perceptions about Gezi Park. This is a fact confessed by the members of the government. However, the inexperienced protestors have also lost their moral superiority by failing to prevent the events of vandalism and trying to transform the protests into a revolution to topple down a democratically chosen PM in the streets. At this point, many people who have felt that this is a trap set for a government which succeeded in many fields have withdrawn their support from the protestors, whose target went beyond saving the park and the trees.
