The government of Alio Ibren Roba will recieve the 3rd highest revenue from central government more than Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu etc amongst the counties. In addition he was given a goodwill by majority to work without any fear shoutings like those of Muthama and MCAs like Embu. Infact and thanks to GCOE our MCAs are completely disarmed and are only there to endorse/approve anything presented to them including their death certificates. Its possible two thirds of funds may be sent back to national government as unutilised funds and the rest end in the pockets of few. I hear the bank accounts of the county are operated like personal accounts and monies dished out without any PV authorisation or without PVs at all. Mandera is a fertile ground for misuse of funds, impunity, corruption and abuse of office. It is a monster government. Allah, anti-corruption agency and auditor general are watching.
