The grandfathers of speed metal... Brasil... I remember discovering so many groups like this one by going to some raggedy looking, dusty and worn out music store somewhere in Alt Heidelberg... I walked out of there with Flotsam and Jetsam, Sepultura, Testament - I saw them on - (from the old MTV Headbangers Ball show... By then, I was going to small arena concerts all over Germany... Not only was I into the 80s big time, but I was also seriously delving into the metal scene... After all... I grew up listening to little things like Beatles, Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath... While in college, I got turned on to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden... And then, one day, this teenager comes to the 130th Station Hospital, where I served and hands down to me The four horsemen by Metallica... Guns-n-Roses was brought in by another soldier who arrived into his assignment... A female soldier in Texas, at Sam Houston turned me on to things like The Motels, Depeche Mode, Psychedelic Furs...
