The great General Zorawar Singh conquered Ladakh and Western Tibet who fought at 14,000 feet above sea level in brutal terrain and weather. He was such a powerful figure that after his death in December 12, 1841, the Chinese General sold his flesh and bones for gold coins and their was chaos as people were fighting over every part of his body. A British historian confirms that to this day, the upper part of his skull is used as a bowl in a Tibetan Monastery.
