The greater the awareness that one has of their own self-resentment, the farther they will go out of their way to reach someone who they feel is responsible for or contributes to their psycho-emotional state and cast aspersions in attempts to bring the latter down to the level of the former. However, that never works because the first person, in essence, must always remain lower than the second person to try to PULL them down as they are very aware that they are not above the second person to PUSH them down or on par with them to knock them down. This is indisputable fact. This is not unlike trying to kill someone by spitting poison at them. You may spray them or even soak them on the outside, but not before and not without taking the poison into yourself first and always.
