The greatest miracles Ive seen have been overseas, many times in remote areas where the gospel had not been available and the people had been under persecution for generations. Im not taking about the guy with big hair slapping people to the floor on TV, or blowing on them as they shiver with delight. Im talking about true miracles that only come from the hand of God with us virtually spectators. One of those was during one of our trips to Latvia. I was playing at a Jesus Rally and there were some young kids from Montana playing as well. Their amps were all turned up, they were jumping around and didnt seem to care about anything other than their monitor mix. I was starting to get a sore throat and was all alarmed at the kids and upset I was getting sick right at the start of trip, would lose my voice and not be able to sing. Then I saw this old woman with a scarf on her head standing next to the PA speaker holding her ears and moving her head up and down. I thought the inconsiderate teenagers where blowing out her ear drums, so I jumped down from the stage went up to her and put my hands over her hands and was apologizing and saying we really want her to know Jesus. Then she grabbed my hands, started crying, and then kissing my hands and my face. One of our interpreters came over and told me she was saying she had been deaf since she was a little girl, and when I put my hands on hers, her hearing was restored. So God in spite of me and my rotten attitude, healed this lady and being a spectator of this miracle changed me as well. Amazing heart of God
