The greatest speech a coach gave me was at half time in a big game that we were winning by a few points against a team that were one of the favourites to win the championship while we werent exactly the best team in it. He said Lads, look out at that team. What have they got that ye havent got? They have two legs and two arms and so do ye. They are only humans beings so whats stopping us from beating them? Ye are the same as them so stick into them and prove that if any man tries, he can bate the other We won the game by a fisted point with 20 odd seconds to go from the wing back. Did we win the whole thing out? No, we lost the next game unfortunately.
