The greatest thing about recovery is the only one I have to thank is myself and NA. I dont feel as if I owe anyone for fitting the the pieces of my broken life back together. I try to put in just as much as I get out of this program... ive had many people lend a hand and im learning not to take advantage of it if I can pick myself up without it. Its an amazing feeling to actually care about yourself and like the person you are becoming. My life is far from perfect but there is no fork in the road, going back just isnt an option. Im greatful for my life today, the good and bad. I pray for the addict still suffering, knowing I used to be that suffering addict. Life can be good.
