The greatest trick the devil could ever pull was convincing the world HE didnt exist This video literally sent chills down my spine after reading one of the comments that one person was finally a to breakdown. After rewatching the video over and over, part by part, Im finally able to dissect an interpretation out of it. I admit that its sort of lengthy but heres my take on it: The guy in the white shirt was supposed to represent Truth, the All-knowing, some may even refer to Him as God. Basically, hes an entity who is Good-incarnate. Despite the specifics of the situation, He knew that, if Santa were to make the call, hed live through the night. Santas boss is Deceit, all that is evil, some may refer to him as the Devil. Santa represents the saint who has lost his path, hence the changing of his real name, Saint Nicholas. God was posing as the man in the white shirt, unbeknownst to Santa, and, somehow, unbeknownst to the audience, both of the two had become good friends over the years. This explains the informal tone of their conversation and the fact that Santa had his phone number in his cell phone. During the whole conversation, the man in the white shirt was subtly trying to hint his real identity to Santa but, due to Santas vain concerns (money, lust, and worldly survival), he fails to realize. At 5:13, Saint Nicholas finally realizes that the man in white is God and starts to speak about what he wouldve done differently throughout the years if he had in faith in God but its too late at this point. God cuts him off with, But you didnt know because you werent supposed to. Santa wasnt supposed to know that God was trying to help him because, as far he was concerned, all he was supposed to do was survive in this cold world through whatever means possible. The last thing that God tells him before he blows up is that The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convince the world he didnt exist. In my opinion he doesnt mean that the greatest trick that the devil ever pulled was convince the world that the devil didnt exist but the greatest trick that the devil ever pulled was convince the world that God doesnt exist. Santa is then killed by the explosion, accepting the fact that he had been played by the devil through the promise of worldly gain.
