The guy on the left is my cousin David Allen Cline and he is doing what he has done for many years training firefighters. His dedication to teaching the craft is well known in Iredell County. The first training burn I ever went into he was there with me and that was 29 years ago. Well for those that dont know he will be retiring from his job as Deputy Fire Chief of the Statesville Fire Department at the end of the year.....but the lucking thing for the fire service he intends to keep on teaching and volunteering at Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department where he has been a member for 43 years. Thanks cuz for sharing the knowledge!!
