The hallmark of a democracy would be the presence of institutions promoting public discourse, and an institution engaging the people in an ongoing dynamic of social and political change. The single greatest flaw in the US Constitution is that it does not allow the people to directly amend the Constitution. We are blocked from such power, intentionally. The framers didnt want us to touch it. Election, and voting has always been a fraud, from the first election to today. Both Mark Twain and Emma Goldman remarked that if voting mattered the people in power would not allow us to hold elections.
