The hardest moment when you’re trying to be independent and mend - TopicsExpress

The hardest moment when you’re trying to be independent and mend your wounds is when you find someone completely perfecting your type of a lover, and yet you’ve been hurt and simply cannot allow yourself to love them. The right person in the wrong time. It’s a mixture of pleasure and pain. Yes you have found someone similar to you in thoughts and interests. No you do not want to fall in love because they will eventually hurt you just like the one before. And then it starts in your head. Insecurities, the struggle when you see them smiling at you, the struggle of trying not to smile when they do… And then it happens and you do know you’re in love; you look at them and you want to be in their arms. You feel safe when they stare at you. You feel them being honest in everything they say. You start to wonder why you even doubted them from the first place. The memories strike you back. How your ex treated you, and how eventually you were heartbroken. More fear. More pain. More tears and confusion. Being trapped in whirlwinds of emotions; twisting you, throwing you around, playing with your mind. And then they kiss you. Every probable problem on earth disappears then. It simply goes away and you feel a tingling feeling in your stomach, and such a joy topped with warmth. You decide to forget and move on. Old memories are memories for a reason. New ones replace the old ones. You start working for a future instead of crying because of the past. You have found hope again. No more fears of feeling love and no more denying it. There is something waiting for me there. There is no right person in the wrong time. Time is always changing. You make your own time and your own moment. If you miss the chance, it’s going to be hard getting it back. There is only a right person. And there is time. And then there’s you. What do you choose to do? _bianca_
