The hardest part of my day is the hour I spend with the girls in church by myself on weekday mornings. I always worry that they are disturbing everyone else. But the mostly older weekday fellowship always chat me up afterward tell me how cute and well behaved the girls are, even on the days Meggie has chanted muahahaha like a villain over and over or the time the girls got into a physical altercation in the pew over a toy. Its also a rewarding part of the day as Ive seen the girls begin to learn their faith, become very comfortable in and around the church, and interact with all of the older people who adore them. This week many people came up to me, several Ive never spoken to, and asked about my family and if anyone was hurt by the typhoon. It was so awesome, especially because Ive never mentioned I was Filipino to anyone there. Charles Jason Wilkins
