The heat is settling in, so its time to switch your watering technique. Long and slow, thats the way to go (hey, that rhymed!). Slow waterings train roots to grow deep into the ground to seek moisture, which makes them drought-restistant. Quick, frequent waterings make your plants lazy and theyll develop shallow roots which will bake in the sun. Theres a metaphor about raising kids in there somewhere....
