The highest-ranking US military officer to be killed in combat since the Vietnam War is laid to rest....and neither Obama nor Biden bother to show up. Biden was God-knows-where, but Obama was only in Marthas Vineyard. This is an extreme insult not only to the memory of this man, and to his family, but to the armed services in general. The President is the Commander-in-Chief. He continually and incorrectly refers to the US Armed Forces as my military, as if he owns the military. Well, for a guy who apparently thinks that he owns the troops and equipment, he has so little regard for these people that he cannot even show up when one of his top officers is killed in combat.
