The highlight: an 80-yard touchdown gallop in the third quarter, giving the Raiders a 28-17 lead. After bursting through the left side of the line, Jennings was met head-on by sturdy strong safety D.J. Swearinger. Down went Swearinger. Down went Swearinger. The awesome thing about that, said Raiders center Stefen Wisniewski, who took out about three Texans on the play, is most times guys run somebody over, they get caught, eventually, because (the collision) slows em down, but he just ran him over and kept rolling all the way. It was pretty impressive. Head coach Dennis Allen praised Jennings as a workhorse kind of back, which implies durability. It also connotes lack of speed, but the 80-yarder was a sprint.
