The highlight on Spooky Omaha Spots continues... Just west of Adams Park- near JA Creighton Blvd and Bedford in North O - is a network of thick wooded areas, sometimes referred to as the Green Hill area. Within these small forested area are a network of overgrown trails and possibly.....Three Fingered Willy. According to local legend (mostly stemming from grown kids who remember what their parents and teachers told them about him) folks should venture into the woods at their own risk lest they be snatched up by... Three Fingered Willy! How did Three Fingered Willy get there? Why does he only have 3 fingers? What exactly does he do to folks with those 3 gnarled fingers that is so horrible? We dont know. All we DO know is this. Despite the fact that the Green Hill area would seem on the surface to be a fanatic place to run and hide from the police.... ....Rarely (and we mean rarely) do scoff laws lead officers into foot chases within the creepy, overgrown confines of Three Fingered Willys territory. And in the cases of the few that have fled into those creepy woods? Police dogs refuse to enter to search....and.... Police have never actually located the offender....
