The hike was perfect. A blend of wind, water, sun and rock. The rocks! They are almost like personalities, their huge presence hanging over the beach. Some were smooth while others very textured with lots of layers. We had to skirt the incoming tide, even climb up a rock(no small fete) but it worked and then we were facing the strong winds. Before we knew it we were overlooking it all, ridge walking as we gazed down onto the rocks and beach below amidst the wild chrysanthemum, golden rod and poison ivy!!
