The hindus dont want to mention beef quite forgetting that beef was a favourite during vedic times and a whole lot of hindus relish it even today. The muslims take issue with pork. The jains dont want to have anything to do with non vegetarian food and some even dont want onions, garlic and what have you. But the fact is that all these things including cow/ buffalo slaughtered for beef, pigs for pork, onions, garlics etc etc exist and are widely consumed by somebody or the other. There is now a whole bunch of toads sitting on educational boards and writing committees who can never have enough of political correctness. Welcome to the new hell.
