🎅 The holiday season can be a difficult time for so many. I always struggle emotionally during this time but have been fortunate to not also have financial struggles. I recently met a family in Iowa who does not have the resources to provide Christmas gifts for the family. I am sending a care package off and invite anyone who would like to contribute to drop items off to me - either at Bert Ambrose School or at my home by November 25. 🎄To help put needs in perspective, the oldest boy asked for a winter coat as he doesnt have one and the girls simply asked for a pair of jeans. I am hoping to collect some gently used clothing items as well as a few new items and stocking stuffers to help the parents provide some much needed Christmas cheer in their home. They recently lost a son/brother to cancer and have relocated to a new town. Mom is on disability and has attempted to find an organization who would help them but was informed that only children under 12 are provided gifts. 💔 Breaks my heart. 🎁If you would like to contribute, here are the ages and sizes of the children: *Boy - age19 size (size medium mens shirts & coats; pants size 30 x 32 (skinny jeans) *Girl - age 16 (size xlg shirts and coat; pants size 16 juniors/womens) *Girl - age 16 (size lg shirts and coat; pants size 16 juniors/womens) * Boy - age 15 (size medium mens shirts and coat jeans size 30x34 (boot cut). I realize there are many families in our own community who also need assistance but this year I have decided to send some Northern cheer across the border.
