The impending Scottish independence vote has got me thinking about the current political situation here in the UK. I feel its totally wrong to assume everyone in the British Isles or indeed beyond these shores wants to conform to this entrepreneurial ideal, it was flogged to us before in the 80s and look how that all ended! I do accept there is a place for the right in society but if that isnt balanced out with the left then I believe that would lead us down a rather worrying route where the gap between the haves and the have nots would widen considerably, so whichever way the vote goes next week I would like to see all parties take a good look at themselves and consider the reasons as to why so many voters have become disillusioned with them.
