The initial report on the Vionic sandals... As per a previous report, Ive found that my ankles, once pretty self-supporting, have started knocking in a bit, and since some lawsuit scotched Reeboks EasyTone brand, [and mine wore out], Ive been in daily pain from sciatica---a nerve issue that kind of wanders over the hip and upper leg. Decided on a critical look in the mirror, and experience figure-skating, that the ankles might be the problem. So I started looking for a fairly inexpensive brand of sandals with support. They came yesterday. I wore them from about 3pm until evening. They definitely reposition your weight distribution. Last night, no pain. This morning, no pain. The sandals are on my feet even sitting and working, Ill tell you. So Im ordering another pair, which either Jane or I can use. They also make tennies, heels, etc. Sell on Amazon and Zappos. Sizes: at least for the thongs, if you waffle between two sizes, go for the smaller size rather than the larger. They also make mens shoes.
