The intrinsic kindness of people, the anti-commercial value of hippydom which we all enjoyed and embraced as teenagers was evident in 2013 on the Isle of Avalon. Today, the dreaded seller of the Big Issue, who plagues the High Street, was bought a sandwich by one pedestrian and actually sold a magazine to another, within two minutes of each other. In addition, my dear friend Tove, sent Jan and I hand knitted Norwegian socks, which fitted and are perfect for Winter. We are rich in warmth and friendship around these parts. The thread goes way back to the good old days!
