The is a story in a bible that fascinates me. That is the story of Lazarus;not the one of Bethany but the one who was a beggar and ate what the rich man left. The came a time when he died and so did the rich man. Lazarus,as poor as he was went to heaven and the rich man to hell. In a conversation Abraham had with a rich man he said even if someone came from the dead and talk of God people will not believe if they dont believe in Moses and the prophets and i think thats true. I think if God were to send someone many will not believe him. New theories will emerge,scientist shall dispute it,those who believe in evolution shall claim such rise has no basis and so called intellectuals will easily dismiss it. If people couldnt and can not believe nor listen to Jesus it will be hard if not impossible to listen to someone else. Lazarus lived with nothing and yet he died and got everything. As human we must live and yearn to change our material conditions but above all we must seek the kingdom of God while we still can.
