The issue he brought before the Parliament is about his wife. They - TopicsExpress

The issue he brought before the Parliament is about his wife. They have been married for about 9 years and they are yet to have a baby. It happened that he and his wife agreed for her to take up a job offer a few years back and that meant her relocating abroad and he could not relocate with her because of his job back home but they also made arrangements to be visiting each other every three months-because they were still trying for a baby. While his woman was away, he was also rounding up with his post graduate program in the University and it was during the course of his study that he met an undergraduate student that took in and eventually had a baby (boy) for him…thanks to a brief affair that ensued between them. This lady is not pushing for marriage in anyway; she seems more interested in moving on with her life. She doesn’t even want her people to know that she had the baby because when her pregnancy became noticeable, she stopped going home and was practically holed up in his house-to escape prying eyes. As soon as the baby was born, he travelled to go confess things to his woman and beg for her forgiveness. His woman’s reaction? She threw him out of the house that night and ceased every single property they own together. The clothes he had on the night she threw him out was all that he left with and they have been separated since the past 2 years. He lost his mother while this was going on and his woman refused to come for the burial, neither did she send anything-despite the fact that he informed her about his mother’s demise. It’s been over two years now and he desires to move on with his life. He did not talk marriage with the mother of his son but as things stand now-he is beginning to think that it won’t be a bad idea for them to raise the boy together-as parents…especially since his wife is unwilling to have anything to do with him and the child. He is also considering asking his wife for a divorce so that he can move on completely with his life. He has asked the Parliament to advise him first. He feels he has been patient enough. He has been begging and even sent emissaries (friends and family) to his woman but she wouldn’t budge. What she did instead was to rubbish his person before those that he sent to beg her. They are from the South East. The mother of his son is from the South South. He is in his mid-40s; the lady is in her early 30s.His wife is just 40years old.
