The issue of self harm is an interesting subject on releasing severe psychological distress. I have self harmed in previous years and ended up in intensive care for ten days and an acute ward for eight days with breathing problems associated with pneumonia and sepsis, after lying on the floor for 3 days after an overdose. I wished to die because of the stigma and discrimination I was experiencing on a daily basis from the general populous.
