The job of Deacons is to assist the Pastor with the operation of the Church & helping with situations outside of the Church. The Deacons are not suppose to have authority of the Church, nor the Deacons have power to remove a Pastor. According to the Book of Timothy, Deacons are faithful servants of God. If youre going to be a Deacon then you MUST attend Church & particpate in Worship Service, Bible Study, & other Church activities. Likewise their wives (Deaconess) suppose to act & behave in the same manner. #ChurchEthics
