There is no logical and rational reason for its existence-so it cannot be there! Its just a fantasy. Like the tooth fairy story. I disagree. The pot of gold exists. At the end of every rainbow. What is this rainbow? The different tasks life offers you. What is that pot of gold? The gratification you feel once the task is completed. It is the value you attribute to your desire that turns it to gold. When a baby learns to crawl or take a stroll on its own, its travelling along the rainbow. When the baby reaches its destination safely, when they are applauded for their achievement- they smile, their eyes shimmer in delight. The baby has found the pot of gold. When you got the straight As in your school report card. When you were applauded for your performance on stage. When your parents talked about you to others with pride.When you got admission to your dream college.When your friends approved you as the most reliable. When your younger siblings looked up at you, and told you that you were their role model. When you got your driving license. When you brought a smile to someone whose life was plunged in sorrow. When your parents had teary eyes due to joy when you received your first salary. When you achieved what others thought was impossible. You saw the pot of gold. The fruit of your determined effort. Life offers a lot of rainbows. But you might not find the end of the rainbow always. You may have a nasty fall from it. While travelling along it, the beautiful spectrum might mislead you in thinking the going is easy. You start losing your determination. And before you realize,the rainbow fades off and you fall. You have seen the pot of gold at many times. But you dont find yourself in front of it always. Sometimes the travelling towards it turns into a disaster. What is...
