The joys of goat ownership. Went out to feed while the girls were milking, and my oldest comes and shows me her milk bucket. She says the milk looks funny. I look in, and she has maybe two squirts in the bucket and it is all thick and slimy looking. Great! I go over to milk her out, and her udder is very hot. Swell.....the left side only has about 8 squirts of milk in it, not hard, no lumps. Right side has about a half gallon in it. Take her temp, 105.4. I am out of syringes, so off to TSC for syringes and "Today". Dosed her with Pen G, Banimine, and Today. Temp is already down a tiny bit, will be keeping an eye on her through out the day.
