While EVM,s are so much in controversy .Election Commission survey says 95% voters prefer EVMs. Whereas number of EVMs required this election is 11.25 lakhs . For first time Ballot boxes were manufactured by Godrej in their Vikroli plants at an average of 15000 boxes per day with average cost of Rs 5 each .
