The landlords raising the rent again. Lovely. Gee, it will have been a whole 11 months! He says its because of increased costs of running things and the consumer price index, but he just built a lovely new insulated carport (about 2000 square feet of it) on the property for his lovely new deluxe motorhome. We get to look at it every day. He also drives by with new cars on a regular basis (we know for certain he has 5 or 6 of them, not including the motorhome). I may be silly, but I think its just rude to flaunt your wealth in front of your tenants while hiking up their rent again, cutting corners on managing things, refusing to upgrade anything, spraying poison on their gardens and in the stream (Ive caught him at both), and pouring massive amounts of bleach in the water (which actually bleaches out our clothing when doing laundry). Ugh.
