The language someone uses can give an indication of how limited a persons thinking around something is, however it is not the whole evidence.. their non-verbal behaviour should be taken into account also.. as this can often give one even more evidence of what is.. or isnt the case.. For example, Im often told by fellow changeworkers and language-police, that the word try, shouldnt be used as it implies failure, which is something that may be true, however, semantics is important.. and try is better than not at all.. and you never know how far someone has come in their personal journey.. in addition, in my Jamaican English language to try a ting is a turn of phrase, which doesnt mean try in the traditional sense.. it means you are already doing whatever it is you are on about... I just think that some people take language use, a tiny bit too seriously.. as if it is 100% of the stimulus... #NLPrantover
