The last 20 hours have been one of the most ludicrous travel experiences Ive had to date, all of which included the following: 1. Boarded a plane already an hour delayed, only to sit in for nearly another hour and a half before departing. 2. Was considered a missed connection to our connecting flight, even though they downgraded the plane without our knowledge, gave up our seats, after we hauled ass across terminals to make it on time. 3. Had an hour and a half ordeal over said missed connection with Delta employees (aka dont fly Delta). 4. Spent 100$ round trip to a hotel we had booked rooms with only to have them tell us they overbooked and had none. Back to airport. 5. Slept on a smelly mat in the middle of the Minneapolis airport, which I really wouldnt have minded if the aforementioned hadnt occurred. All in all, I realize this is an extreme case of a first world problem and once I get home Im gonna put my big girl panties on and take a nap. Whew.
