The last couple of years I have been so busy with the business that I havent had time to do a lot of things that I love doing. I bought some colourbond vegetable beds and I am back growing my vegetables. I put some cherry tomatoes in and a couple of different types of cucumbers, spring onions and some zucchinis. The zucchinis are struggling as we got a fair bit of rain in a short period of time. Our grape vine usually doesnt grow much as its always hot and dry. This year it has gone crazy. I have grapes, cucumbers and tomatoes all in together. My cherry tomatoes are up to the back verandah a height of about 9-10 feet much to Colins dismay. He hates me growing vegetables. I also have jap pumkins growing down behind the shed. My last lots of seeds and a pumpkin I was saving, both got thrown out. This time I cleared a spot where the mower doesnt go! Also have to keep them up from the fence so the goats dont get to them.Looking forward to pumkin soup in winter.I had cherry tomotoes, cucumber and spring onion with my tea tonight.Nothing like home grown!!!!
