The last day to register for the July 15 Runoff Election is July 3. You can register in person or mail an application in -- linked here: tinyurl/nh33rmj -- but it must be received by July 3. Based on some bewildered comments in the Primary, well volunteer the following. Folks in West Homewood living north of Lakeshore and west of I-65 planning to vote in the GOP Runoff are not in Congressional District 6 and will not be eligible to vote in the DeMarco v. Palmer race, but can vote for Secretary of State, State Auditor, and PSC. In that same area, the Democratic ballot will contain a match-up between former County Commissioner Shelia Smoot and current Commissioner Sandra Brown as well as a local judicial runoff.
