The last few days have been pretty cool here in Egypt. We are still in Aswan. Unloaded the Troopy off the ferry from Sudan today and completed 5-hours of paperwork. I have come down with the man flu so the friendly shopkeeper Rafaat (white t-shirt) bought me a tea with a potion of spices to help me out. The old boy on the seat owned the spice store. He demanded with a smile Sit down. Where are you from? Welcome to Egypt. Can I get you a tea? I had to say No thanks I have just had one with the shopkeeper around the corner. He said Ok no problem you come back tomorrow. Kirst had a perfume mixed just for her and we rummaged through baskets of spices smelling the aromas. We will be here for a couple more days then will head north. Weve nearly crossed the continent, but we arent counting our chickens until theyve hatched. If weve learnt one thing on this trip, its that you cant get too head of yourself {G}
