The last present is wrapped, and the house is organized from our gathering from last night. There is no cooking to be done for our gathering again tonight, so Im sitting here with my eggnog and thinking of Christmas over the past years. As you know how much I love this time of year, my mind travels back to when my children were little and the joy it brought to my heart to see their faces light up with the smells , sounds, and of course Santa ( even though they didnt want to be near him) Wed go to church for the Christmas play, the music was wonderful, and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. As they got older it was playing football ( me too) on Christmas Eve before everyone got there, or having everything finished and going to the mall to watch people hurrying to finish their shopping. Over the years the lost of loved ones were hard, but they are always remembered!! MEMORIES!! Thank God we have them! No matter how many years or Christmas come and go we always have our memories to warm our hearts. So Im sitting here with a warm heart and a feeling of content of being so blessed with my life and you know who you are! Merry Christmas to you all and may you feel as blessed!!
