The last thing the doctor would have ordered for recovery is to have some dumb construction in my apartment from 7am - ??? today. Its building-wide and they originally wanted to do it Friday, but aint NOBODY working in our place without someone here! So, since I couldnt re-schedule surgery, Ill be spending this sleepy morning with a bunch of construction dudes making noise while the kitties cry in the bathroom. David Gibson and I have set up shop in the kitchen, which isnt too bad. At least the coffee is nearby! Happy Monday, and hey - why is everyone freaking out about buying groceries, as if armageddon is looming? Its just a snowstorm. DG and I figure we could make food for a month with everything here, though Im sure the last few days would be pretty gross - like canned octopus with shiritaki noodles and ketchup (and water from our waterfall in the living room). So, lets hope it doesnt come to that! Stay safe, and enjoy what you have to enjoy! As The Pazant Brothers say - youve got to do your best!
