The last two days have been a blessing..... I showed up to an old familiar home, inside my daughter waiting to see me for the first time in two years. When she saw me we hugged for what seemed forever and for that brief moment all the pain, all the tears , and all the anger was gone. It felt as if wed never been apart. She has grown. Shes tall, beautiful, skinny, somewhat tan and has that same sweet smile. Shes still my baby, my last born and my little girl. We had an Awsome day , got our toes done, visited for hours, went swimming, and i went to meeting. We went to bed cuddled and watched a movie . Today has been just as nice. Today we stayed at tge house all day laid around together and watched movies. I went to another meeting tonight and now my son is on his computer next to us and were watching a movie. I imagine this would be day to day life if she were ableto visit me at home. This visit has made me humble and reminded me that if I live right good things will come. In all honesty if I have my children in my life Im whole . They are all I need for happiness. I find joy in other things and people but my babies are my babies. Tonights meeting a gentelman said I left for a party at 13 and returned 35 I can relate to this only difference is my kids have grown up and Ive missed it. Tonight Im proud to be a memeber of AA and know that I have a desease that will ruin me if I dont get my medicine. Thank you Susan and Dennis for taking me to the meetings the last two nights. Its nice to get to go even though Im so far from home..... the promises really do come true if you do the work.
