The last week of 2014 was Sue week for me! 2015 WILL BE different! My new PCP wanted a fresh ECHO of my heart, so I had one at Berryville about 3 weeks ago. Seems the little muscle they had been worried about since my first surgery had not been working properly. It controls the blood flow in my aortic valve, and at present blood flow is very low. After seeing my cardiologist at the clinic, I was referred to a cardiologist at Mercy Rogers to have a combination defibrillator/pacemaker installed. This is a good thing. Finish with the pre-op tests, get into the car to go home, long story short, fuel pump had went out. The cold was terrible and I was having trouble breathing. One of the nurses came out and had me go inside. He called a tow truck for us, and the tow truck driver said he would drop us off us off at this clean, inexpensive motel that was near the repair shop. The problem was the tow truck was under contract to Firestone it cost almost $700 to have a new fuel pump installed in my old pos car. Get home, drs office calls, one of my tests didnt come out right. Had to retake it at Bville on Friday. called today, I am back on the surgery for Wednesday. Called my kids,arranged a ride, then drs office calls back. Dr. decided he wanted me to retest next Monday, so if it comes ok, I will have the surgery on Weds the 14th. I am so ready!
