The late Jack Crocker gave the program at a Wagoner County - TopicsExpress

The late Jack Crocker gave the program at a Wagoner County Historical Society meeting in 1980. I had to miss the meeting, so I was pretty impressed with the information in his file that Rebecca Crocker has shared with us. Jacks dad J.R. Crocker was manager of Wagoners Long Bell Lumber Co., which was just west of where Dr. John Jacksons office now stands. One of the photos in the file was an LB sign they built for the west side of the building. Another was of Jack with Long Bell employee Joe Rosenthal who had returned to Wagoner after serving in Korea. There also was a photo of a paint store Crockers dad opened after Long Bell closed in about 1957. Jack didnt know exactly when Long Bell opened here but did find reference where they were in business as early as 1937. Well be sharing more information and photos from the file in the coming week. Thanks Becky for sharing with us!
