The latest findings by the RCI is proof that Najib, Mahathir and all those involved in carrying out the inquiries are in cahoots to hoodwinked the Sabahans. The delay in disclosing the much-needed findings meant one thing. The actual contents must be edited and reedited to divert the blame of all those culprits responsible for Project IC. BN can never convince us that Mahathir was not involved when in fact he was the mastermind behind this tragic history in Sabah. Kota Kinabalu MP Jimmy Wong said he finds it hard to believe that the 368-page report had failed to find any political motive behind the issuance of citizenship to foreigners. “Who in Sabah believes there was no political motive behind the issuance of the blue identity cards (ICs) to illegal immigrants?” he asked. “Who in Sabah believes that no government agencies were involved in the issuance? “Yes, they can blame it on a few National Registration Department (NRD) officers and syndicates for giving the ICs to the illegals. “These handful of NRD officers are scapegoats to cover the tracks and take the fall for bigger criminals,” he said in Kota Kinabalu today.
