Bethlehem...Easton 403 PM EST MON JAN 26 2015 WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST TUESDAY... * HAZARD TYPES...heavy snow with blowing and drifting. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 to 10 inches. * TIMING...periods of mainly light snow can slow this evenings commute, then snow heavy at times develops late this evening and continues into Tuesday morning, before tapering off by late Tuesday morning. There may be a sharp western edge of the heavy snow area, and this will affect the snow totals. * IMPACTS...significant impacts on travel especially later tonight through Tuesday morning, with heavier snow along with blowing and drifting snow. * WINDS...northeast to north 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * TEMPERATURES...mainly in the upper teens to the lower 20s. * VISIBILITY...one quarter mile or less at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow are expected, and strong winds are possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
