Councils and DIER have are are in the process of erecting signage in affected areas. Motorists are advised to drive to conditions and not to drive onto flooded road areas. Roads Closed Spellmans Road, Wilmot (between Back Road and Wilmot River) is closed due to a landslide Vermont Road, Launcestion is closed between the roundabout and Mowbray Hill due to a burst water main. Bridal Track Road is closed approximately 2 kilometres south of the junction with Kimberley Road. Paloona Rd between Melrose Rd and Lower Barrington Rd, power lines down. Roads flooded Bass Highway near Winspears Road, drain blocked, proceed with caution. Sheffield Main Road, Sheffiled near Kermode St, water on road, proceed with caution. Buxton Road Wilmont has water flowing over it from a burst dam. Motorist should avoid using the road until the area has been assesed by local authorities."
