The latest from the Bradley Friesen files - landing on a tiny rock in the middle of a lake! Ive landed on this rock one other time, and tried 15 different angles to be able to shut down. The best angle was this, with the left skid fully down and the back of the right floating. We measured the gap of the floating section and found it was .5 higher than the height of 2, 2x4s. So, we brought some dunnage, and I lined it up again and my pax that I trained was able to slide them under. When I fully shut down, the machine was perfectly balanced and stable.
