The latest proof that Obamacare is not about “care,” it’s about Obama comes by way of a news report that U.S. hospitals that treat the uninsured as a charitable aspect of their non-profit operations can be penalized. No, seriously. You see, Obamacare’s never been about insuring the uninsured. A report by Bloomberg shows that 26 million of the oft-lamented 30 million (out of a nation of 310 million) who don’t have health insurance won’t be covered under Obamacare — no matter what. So if a charitable hospital wants to treat one of those outliers, the Obama regime is going to drop the hammer.
