The leader of Enugu State House of Assembly, Mr. Sunday Ude-Okoye, Tuesday, dismissed as untrue reports in some national dailies that the lawmakers were collecting signatures to move for the impeachment of the Speaker, Mr. Eugene Odoh. He said that there was no such move in the State Assembly as the Speaker had been discharging the functions of his office effectively. Ude-Okoye who reacted to the media reports which claimed that Enugu Speaker was being threatened with impeachment, said that he was not aware of any impeachment move against the speaker as there was no need for it. “Reporters should report what is real. Nobody is collecting any signature to impeach the speaker who has been a faithful citizen and has discharge his duties effectively.
